About Walt Grace Vintage

Walt Grace Vintage is a gallery in Miami's Wynwood Arts District that sells collector cars and vintage guitars under one roof, along with motorcycles, vintage watches and a full coffee bar. It was founded by Bill Goldstein, a former advertising executive, and opened in 2015, according to the announcement Caterham made when it appointed the business as a dealer in late 2025. The name comes from the John Mayer song "Walt Grace's Submarine Test, January 1967," a story about chasing a dream, a theme the company returns to often.

A gallery for cars and guitars

The company does not see itself as a typical dealership. Its about page says Walt Grace Vintage is "not a car dealership, and not a guitar store," but a gallery that treats vintage cars and guitars as works of art. In practice, the space at 300 NW 26th Street works as a car showroom, a guitar shop and a cafe at the same time: cars and guitars are displayed together, there are rooms for trying instruments, and the cafe serves La Colombe coffee and baked goods. The space is also rented out for private events of up to about 200 guests.

That mix makes the business better known than most classic car sellers. Plenty of visitors come for the coffee or the guitars, and its Yelp listing, with 110 reviews as of August 2026, is filed under guitar stores. The car side is a curated selection rather than a large lot.

The people

Goldstein spent roughly 25 years in advertising before starting the gallery, the company says. The car side is led by curator Jonathan Lewis, who, according to the about page, worked with manufacturers including Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche in the South Florida high-line car business before moving into vintage cars. The team also includes guitar specialists and an in-house guitar repair technician.

What Walt Grace Vintage sells

The car inventory leans toward European sports and collector cars, with air-cooled Porsches as the most consistent thread. In early October 2026 the site listed 17 cars, all with prices and VINs published. Highlights included a 1970 Porsche 911 ST at $1,100,000, a 1988.5 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV at $759,000, a 1993 Porsche 911 "30 Jahre" Jubilee model, a 1964 356 C, a 1965 911 and a 1966 912, alongside a 1974 De Tomaso Pantera, a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda, a 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena with a manual gearbox, a 1969 Shelby GT350H and a 1969 Ford Bronco half cab. The least expensive cars on the list sat between $50,000 and $60,000, including a 1966 Mustang GT convertible and a 1963 Fiat 600 Jolly.

The recently sold section gives a wider view: a 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS, a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring, a 2012 Lexus LFA, 1963 Corvette split-window coupes, a 1954 Jaguar XK120, Land Rover Defender 90s and small British roadsters such as the Austin-Healey Sprite. One sold listing was a 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole described as previously owned by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, which sums up the crossover the business is built on.

Beyond cars, the site sells motorcycles such as a 1966 BMW R69S, vintage and new guitars, amplifiers and pedals, and vintage watches from Rolex, Patek Philippe and Omega.

New Caterhams in Miami

In December 2025 Caterham named Walt Grace Vintage an official U.S. dealer, its seventh in the country according to the press coverage. Customers can order a new Seven through the gallery and take delivery there, and Caterham's retailer page lists sales, parts, servicing and test drives in Miami. A 2026 Seven 420 R was on the site at $88,215 in October 2026.

Buying, selling and consigning

The services page sums up the car business as "buy, sell, consign, trade." Owners can sell a vintage car outright to the gallery, consign it, or put it toward a trade on something in the collection. No consignment fees or terms are published, so sellers should ask about the commission, the minimum term and where the car will be stored. Our guide to how classic car consignment works covers the questions worth settling in writing.

For buyers, Walt Grace Vintage offers a sourcing service it calls curation, using what it describes as a global network to find a specific car or guitar on request. It also offers appraisals of vintage cars and guitars by phone. The site has a financing page that names Synchrony and says financing can be arranged by phone or in store; buyers looking at a six-figure car should confirm whether that program applies to vehicles or whether a specialist collector car lender is the better route. Shipping and inspections are not described on the site, so out-of-state buyers should ask about both and budget for an independent pre-purchase inspection.

Reputation and track record

Walt Grace Vintage has been selling cars from Wynwood for about a decade and keeps a steady flow of cars through its site, with new listings added as recently as late September 2026. We did not find a Better Business Bureau profile. Review sites list it as much as a guitar store and cafe as a car seller, so judge a specific car on its paperwork and an inspection rather than on the atmosphere.

Local press has also reported plans for a second Walt Grace Vintage in Nashville's Pie Town neighborhood, with cars, guitars and a coffee bar, originally expected in 2026. The Miami company's own site did not mention a Nashville location as of October 2026.
