The Colonnade Cutlass traded pillarless hardtops for frameless door glass and heavy federal bumpers, and emissions rules pulled power down hard. The 4-4-2 became an appearance and handling package rather than a separate model, and the Hurst/Olds carried the performance flag through the mid-seventies.
